The beginning of my entry for =guava's Magical Girls Contest. It's on tracing paper right now. The final will be transfered to bristle board and then carefully shaded. I won't be coloring this one. This is meant to be quick, but as well done as I can do it. I have two commissions I'm coloring while doing this...^_^

Good luck to everyone!

This is looking absolutely beautiful. I started on mine, but want to tweak it a bit before starting on color.
yeah...I posted it so I could show Guava...I have a feeling I made Bijou too curvy...:( Damn me and my curvy types...and I was even trying NOT to be too curvy. Bijou just seems to be very tall and slim to me.

I DO really love the sketch though...I'm actually scared to transfer it and shade it *lol*

I can't wait to see yours! I saw you asked for one and I got really excited!

Ah, it looks wonderful already. Peacock feathers were always a favorite accessory in our life drawing class.
We drew a lot of fruit and a lot of bones...:D

Hopefully the finished version will be good...I'm actually nervous about it!

I’m sure that’s okay. Everyone interprets a character in their own way, right? Nevertheless, all your work is gorgeous. <3 I already know you’re shading it, but think it would be beyond outstanding colored, just because peacock feathers look so regal and fanciful.

And yeah, I nabbed ‘Star Collector’ because I planned on doing Guava [for the 80-billonth time. lol] as soon as I saw the contest was up. It’s more gift art then anything else… I hope to have her finished soon. She’s pretty much sketched out, just needs some tweaking, ink, and color. :]
holy bejezuz - that is shaping up amazingly!!!! my lineart never looks half as good! and its not even finished yet! i'm so excited to see it once you put your prettieful colours to it

i love peacocks so much, and i'm so glad you landed this name! i wanted to draw peacock feathers myself, but i am too busy to do my own art for a few weeks (working on my portfolio).

and no! i don't think she's too curvey to be bijou! i just love to see other peoples takes on her, and she's looking awesome!
Awww...thanks, i'm glad you're enjoying her so far...:D I wish I could color her completely...alas, I only have a little bit of time so she'll be shaded in black and white...I'm gonna do my best to make her as kick-ass as I can though. And i'm hoping once my commissions are done, that I'll be able to actually color her properly...:D

I'm glad she's ok...so i won't change her...yay! *hugs*
